We are Steve and Tia Hattan, Broker/Owners of HomeOwners Advantage, Inc. (HOA) Although HOA was created in January 2002 as a full service discount real estate company, we’ve been offering top notch real estate services in the Chicago land area for nearly ten years.

Since the beginning, HOA has seen great success (over 1200 listed properties). During this time we’ve noticed that some homeowners did not want or felt they did not need full service real estate. They knew if they had the power of the MLS behind them, they could sell on their own.

After thinking about this in depth we felt they were absolutely right. As long as they had the vital exposure provided by the MLS, listings in major Internet sites, and an attorney to assist in all the paperwork and follow-through then they had an extremely high chance of selling their home. In fact, just as high as if they would have hired a full service company!!

So, in August 2003, HOA started offering ‘limited services’ for people who just wanted MLS access and major Internet sites.

Although HOA is a limited services company we will go out of our way to exceed the level of customer service you’d expect from a full service company. So far we’ve kept that promise to every single one of our clients and they love the savings!
