My name is Steven Hattan and I’m the Broker/Owner of HomeOwners Advantage, Inc. (HOA) Although HOA was created in January 2002 as a full service discount real estate company, I’ve been offering top notch real estate services in the Chicago land area for nearly ten years.

Since the beginning, HOA has seen great success (the growth rate is over 200% from last year and getting stronger). During this time I’ve noticed that some homeowners did not want or felt they did not need full service real estate. They knew if they had the power of the MLS behind them, they could sell on their own.

After thinking about this in depth I felt they were absolutely right. As long as they had the vital exposure provided by the MLS, listings in major Internet sites, and an attorney to assist in all the paperwork and follow-through then they had an extremely high chance of selling their home. In fact, just as high as if they would have hired a full service company!!

So, in August 2003, I decided to start offering ‘limited services’ for people who just wanted MLS access and major Internet sites.

Although HOA is a limited services company I will go out of my way to exceed the level of customer service you’d expect from a full service company. So far I’ve kept that promise to every single one of my clients and they love the savings!
