Find Your Own Home and Receive All My Commission Minus $1500.

Over the last 14 years HomeOwners Advantage has worked with many savvy buyers who have found the home they wanted to purchase on their own and were given back all but $1,500 of the earned commission.

For example, a real client in Chicago bought a unit in River Plaza, next to Trump Tower.  My buyer was able to set the appointment through the listing broker with the understanding that they (the buyer) were being represented by HomeOwners Advantage.

HomeOwners Advantage wrote and negotiated the offer on behalf of the buyer which was accepted. Within minutes of closing, the buyers received my entire commission check minus $1,500...$7,525 at closing. 

In this real life example the cost of the unit was $365,000 and the commission pay out was 2.5% - $100.

$365000 x 2.5% = $9,125 - $100 = $9,025 (total commission).
$9,025 - $1,500 = $7,525.

In order to do the exact same thing as the River Plaza Buyers did you need to view the property on your own. You can do this by:

  • Visiting an Open House explaining to the attending Realtor that you are represented by HomeOwners Advantage
  • Call the listing broker direct, explaining that your agent from HomeOwners Advantage is not available, but you'd still like to see the property.

In either situation, it must be clear that you are represented by HomeOwners Advantage so there is an earned commission we can rebate money from.
